Speed lewat lagu ini menegaskan kalau Piala Dunia sebagai momen persatuan seluruh negara di dunia. Mau negaranya lolos ke Piala Dunia atau gak, semua fans pasti bersatu dan merayakan turnamen bergengsi empat tahunan ini.

Selain itu, lagu ini juga mewakili ambisi para pemain dari setiap negara yang datang ke Piala Dunia. "Give me the cup, the championship", penggalan lirik sederhana dengan makna tegas di mana setiap negara ingin meraih satu trofi Piala Dunia, berapa pun peluang mereka untuk mendapatkannya, baik besar maupun kecil.

Kalau didengar, lagu Speed ini terasa seperti anthem resmi Piala Dunia, tapi nyatanya bukan. Speed merilis lagu ini secara mandiri dan bukan soundtrack resmi.

Meski begitu, ramai warganet yang setuju kalau lagu "Champions" ini punya vibes yang Piala Dunia banget. Lagunya diklaim lebih cocok jadi anthem utama Piala Dunia 2026 daripada lagu resminya yang sekarang. "Champions" adalah lagu yang ibarat dalam sepakbola adalah gol kemenangan di menit injury time, menyelamatkan Piala Dunia 2026 dari yang sebelumnya euforianya agak anyep menyambut lagu-lagu resmi yang kurang klik sama kuping netizen.
