Setelah hiatus sekitar dua bulan, Amanda JKT48 akhirnya kembali hadir di tengah-tengah penggemar sejak akhir Juli 2024 kemarin. Banyak penggemar yang sudah merindukan penampilan Amanda JKT48 di teater atau panggung festival.
Comeback setelah hiatus, member JKT48 generasi ke-10 unggah sebuah lagu sebagai permintaan maaf kepada penggemar. Apa, ya, makna sebenarnya lagu tersebut?
Setelah tampil lagi di beberapa show, Amanda JKT48 mengucapkan terima kasih kepada penggemar yang masih setia mendukungnya. Maka dari itu, ia mempersiapkan sebuah kejutan kepada para fans.
“Terima kasih untuk hari ini, sebentar lagi aku mau menyampaikan sesuatu, ditunggu ya,” tulisnya yang sukses bikin penggemar penasaran sampai dikira pengumuman kelulusan.
Amanda JKT48 mengakui salah karena telah membuat penggemar yang sayang kepadanya sakit hati dan kecewa atas perbuatannya beberapa waktu lalu. Sebagai bentuk permintaan maaf, ia berusaha membuatkan sebuah lagu berbahasa Inggris untuk para penggemarnya, berharap dapat tersampaikan dengan maksimal.
Lagu berjudul Apology ini menyampaikan selama 2,5 bulan menjadi waktu yang pas untuk intropeksi dan refleksi atas kesalahan-kesalahannya. Amanda JKT48 berharap penggemar dapat menerimanya kembali dalam sebutan ‘new version of me’ yang tampil lebih baik. Ia akan berupaya dan menunjukkan perubahan dalam dirinya, serta berharap penggemar dapat melihat hal tersebut.
