Lagu "In the Rain" XG mengungkapkan perasaan patah hati "ditinggalkan dalam kedinginan" oleh seseorang yang dipercaya. Meski menyakitkan, ia terjebak di tempat yang rentan ini "di tengah hujan" tanpa tempat berlindung ataupun kenyamanan.

Seseorang itu hampir pasrah, membiarkan hujan menghapus rasa sakit sekaligus kenangan bersama. Lagu menangkap kemarahan serta penerimaan pahit-manis, menunjukkan betapa terkadang sulit untuk melepaskan, bahkan sekalipun menari sendirian di tengah hujan.

Lagu "In the Rain" telah dibawakan selama tur dunia XG yang sedang berlangsung, "The first HOWL" yang menuai pujian tinggi penggemar atas koreografi yang memikat dengan payung sebagai properti. Video musik juga dirilis bersamaan dengan album, lho. 

XG bakal tampil di Coachella 2025 pada 20 April 2025 sebagai penutup Sahara Tent, indoor venue terbesar di festival musik tersebut. Mereka akan menjadi headliner kedua, bergabung dengan jajaran bintang internasional seperti Lady Gaga hingga Post Malone.
