Lagu "superstars" juga tentang berjalan-jalan menyusuri sudut kota yang gemerlap, serta menikmati waktu dengan teman-teman yang sama bersinarnya. Lewat rilisan ini, Saweetie dan TWICE mengajak para wanita untuk berani tampil menonjol.

Lagu "superstars" menandai kolaborasi perdana Saweetie dengan TWICE. Digubah dalam gaya beat bubblegum pop yang enerjik dan catchy khas musim panas, liriknya juga sepenuhnya berbahasa Inggris.

Kolaborasi dengan TWICE ini pertama kali diumumkan sepekan lalu saat Saweetie mengunggah video dirinya menari bersama para member di ruang latihan JYP Entertainment lewat media sosial miliknya.

Tak hanya itu, lagu "superstars" juga merupakan salah satu track dalam EP terbaru Saweetie HELLA PRESSURE yang memuat total 5 lagu, termasuk "boffum", hasil kolaborasi dengan produser kondang J White Did It.

Bagi TWICE, rilisan ini menyusul kesuksesan mereka di pasar global, lho. Sebelumnya, girl group yang debut pada 2015 ini sempat berkolaborasi dengan Coldplay lewat lagu "WE PRAY" di April 2025 lalu.
