Tak terlalu punya terkhusus misi
Ini cuma puisi
Dari yang tak percaya ilusi, tapi gemar mengolak imaji
Tak perlu melongok terlalu dalam untuk arti mengkaji
Rangkaian katanya amat sederhana; tanpa batas jeruji
Ini sebatas puisi
Dari sendu-sendu acap ditangisi
Dari tawa warna-warni tanpa hamparan langit
Mungkin pula buah berpuluh celoteh: menggelitik pun menyakit
