Kucoba membuat jendela untuk cahaya
Agar pagi punya jalan untuk menyapa
Dan pintu kubuka selebar yang kubisa
Untuk mereka yang datang tanpa membawa luka
Bata demi bata, hari demi hari
Kubangun ruang untuk menerima diri
Bukan istana dengan dinding tinggi
Cukup sebuah rumah tempat aku tak perlu berlari
Kelak bila atapnya selesai terpasang
Dan malam mengetuk dengan tenang
Aku ingin duduk di beranda memandang
Akhirnya aku punya tempat untuk pulang
