Walaupun susu oat menyehatkan, tetapi ini bukanlah minuman ajaib yang bisa mengatasi banyak masalah kesehatan. Belum lagi, harganya juga lebih mahal dari susu sapi dan bahkan beberapa susu kacang lainnya.
Ada beberapa kerugian dari susu oat, seperti potensi kontaminasi gluten dan kandungan gula dan karbohidrat yang lebih tinggi. Selain itu, meskipun susu oat bisa dibuat sendiri di rumah, tetapi produk ini tidak akan diperkaya dengan semua nutrisi yang dimiliki oleh susu oat komersil. Artinya, kamu tidak akan mendapatkan vitamin dan mineral sebanyak yang kamu dapatkan dari susu oat yang dijual di toko.
