2. Makna lagu Pineapple Slice - Baekhyun EXO
Berbeda dari karya-karya R&B sebelumnya, Baekhyun mengaku ingin memberikan sentuhan baru pada lagu "Pineapple Slice", lho. Tak cuma itu, title track dalam mini album Hello World ini juga terinspirasi dari gaya musik era tahun 1980-an.
Lagu "Pineapple Slice" sendiri memiliki makna bagaimana cara untuk membuat seseorang jatuh hati karena sikap manisnya. Lewat wawancaranya dengan Billboard Korea, Baekhyun menyebut dirinya sebagai "Pineapple Slice" yang bercita rasa manis tersebut.
“Pertama-tama, akulah si "Pineapple Slice" itu. Bahkan jika kamu mencari di seluruh dunia, kamu tidak akan dapat menemukan orang yang lebih manis dariku," tuturnya.
3. Fakta comeback mini album Hello World
Mini album Hello World adalah rilisan terbaru Baekhyun setelah vakum selama tiga tahun lamanya. Oleh sebab itu, pelantun lagu "Bambi" ini menganggap karya solo terbarunya itu "spesial" karena dia berpartisipasi penuh sedari awal dalam tahap perencanaannya.
“Album ini istimewa bagi saya karena saya dapat berpartisipasi sedari awal dalam tahap perencanaan, jadi saya belajar banyak,” tutur pemilik nama lengkap Byun Baekhyun ini.
Karena ini merupakan rilisan pertamanya setelah sekian lama, Baekhyun menuturkan bila dia tak ingin terlihat seperti berusia tiga puluhan, nih. Dia menginginkan konsep yang kuat yang dapat mengarah pada sesuatu yang segar dan berbeda dari karya sebelumnya.
