Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) kembali merilis sebuah karya musik. Kali ini, ia menggandeng 35 musisi untuk berkolaborasi dalam lagu dan MV berjudul "Save Our World."
SBY menamakan grup tersebut sebagai Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and Friends yang berisi musisi-musisi ternama, seperti Cakra Khan, Andy /rif, Lala Karmela, Sandhy Sondoro, Saykoji, dan masih banyak lagi.
MV "Save Our World" dibuka dengan monolog Presiden Indonesia ke-6 yang menceritakan asal-usul di balik lagu ini. Ia menyebut lagu yang bercerita tentang perubahan iklim ini sudah dibuat sejak 2010 lalu.
"Pada 2010 saat saya masih menjabat sebagai Presiden Indonesia, saya melakukan perjalanan ke Oslo, Norwegia, untuk ikut dalam acara Konferensi Internasional tentang Perubahan Iklim dan Penyelamatan Hutan," kata SBY seperti dikutip dari channel YouTube miliknya pada Rabu (2/7/2025).
SBY mengungkap, lagu ini ia tulis sebelum perjalanan ke Norwegia tersebut. Mengambil inspirasi dari tema utama konferensi yang fokus pada pencegahan perubahan iklim dan pelestarian lingkungan. Pada 2025 ini, ia kembali membuat aransemen terbaru untuk lagu "Save Our World" dengan mengajak 35 musisi top Indonesia.
Perjalanan lagu "Save Our World" ciptaan SBY ini cukup menarik. Ia mengungkap, lagu ini pernah dinyanyikan ulang oleh Sandhy Sandoro yang diaransemen ulang oleh Erwin Gutawa.
Setelah itu, pada 2013, lagunya juga dinyanyikan ulang oleh penyanyi dan asal Amerika Serikat, Jeffrey Pescetto, dengan menggunakan bahasa Inggris dan diaransemen oleh Jeff Lorber.
Di versi 2025 ini, Tohpati yang ditunjuk untuk sekali lagi mengaransemen ulang lagu "Save Our World," ditunjang oleh suara-suara emas para musisi dari berbagai generasi.
