LNGSHOT debut dengan 13 Januari 2026 lalu dengan merilis mini album bertajuk SHOT CALLERS. Karya pertamanya itu terdiri dari lima lagu dengan "Moonwalkin'" sebagai title track. Namun selain itu, b-side track mereka tak kalah mencuri perhatian, termasuk "Backseat".

Lagu ini menggambarkan perjuangan dan ambisi sekelompok anak muda yang sedang mengejar mimpi bersama, persis seperti LNGSHOT. Di bagian intro, lirik “They don't see the work it takes” menegaskan bahwa orang lain sering kali hanya melihat hasil, bukan proses panjang, kerja keras, dan pengorbanan di baliknya. Namun terlepas dari anggapan tersebut, mereka terus melangkah maju tanpa menyerah.
Selain kegigihan diri, anak muda ini memutuskan untuk terus melaju karena mereka percaya bahwa suatu hari nanti, usaha mereka akan terbayar. Lagu ini pada akhirnya berbicara tentang loyalitas pada tim, kepercayaan diri, mental pantang menyerah, serta keyakinan bahwa kerja keras bersama akan membawa mereka ke puncak.
“Backseat” menjadi lagu keempat dari LNGSHOT yang dibuat dalam versi MV. Mereka merilisnya pada Jumat (20/2/2026), menyusul tiga lagu sebelumnya, yaitu "Moonwalkin'", "Saucin'", dan "FaceTime". Kini, di antara lima lagu di mini album SHOT CALLERS, hanya tersisa "Never Let Go" yang belum mendapatkan versi MV.
Lebih lanjut, perilisan MV "Backseat" juga menuai respons positif dari para penggemar. Pasalnya, lagu ini dinilai spesial karena dua member terlibat dalam penulisan liriknya. Mereka adalah Ryul dan Woojin.
