"A Little More" membawa unsur musik blues dan lirik yang sarat pesan tentang melindungi diri sendiri hingga soal keberanian. Ed Sheeran kembali bekerja sama dengan DAVE dalam menulis lagu ini. Keduanya telah berkolaborasi di lagu "Nothin On You" dan "F64."

Lewat lagu ini, Ed Sheeran berani menunjukkan sisi emosi marah, frustasi, dan kelegaan atas perpisahan dengan cukup vulgar.

Menjelang perilisan single "A Little More," Ed Sheeran sempat memberikan kode-kode lewat media sosialnya. Ia bahkan mengunggah beberapa konten kolaborasi dengan sang aktor, menandakan akan ada sebuah kolaborasi dalam waktu dekat.

Benar saja, lewat MV "A Little More," Ed Sheeran menggandeng Rupert untuk membintanginya. Sebelumnya, Rupert sempat membintangi MV lagu Ed Sheeran berjudul "Lego House" pada 2011 lalu.

Ed Sheeran membagikan ceritanya ketika proses syuting MV single ini bersama Rupert Grint. Menurutnya, proses syuting MV "A Little More" jadi yang terlama yang pernah ia jalani.

"Aku terakhir kali bekerja sama dengan Rupert Grint 14 tahun yang lalu untuk ‘Lego House’ dan aku tidak tahu jika iya akan menerima tawaranku untuk ide video 'A Little More.' Namun, aku sangat senang saat dia bersedia. Video ini sangat seru dan gila. Proses syuting video ini merupakan proses terlama yang pernah aku lakukan saat itu dan dengan pergantian kostum terbanyak," tulisnya di Instagram.

Penyanyi asal Inggris ini akan merilis album terbaru bertajuk Play pada 12 September 2025.
