Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Peace be upon you all.
First of all, let’s be grateful to Allah SWT, who gives us health, time, and blessings so that we can gather here today to celebrate a very special moment: the birthday of our beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Now, I know sometimes when we hear about Maulid Nabi, we imagine something very formal, serious, and maybe even a little bit heavy. But actually, celebrating the Prophet’s birthday is not just about listening to long lectures, it’s about remembering his spirit, his kindness, and how his life lessons still connect with us, even as young people in today’s world.
Prophet Muhammad SAW was not only a Messenger of Allah; he was also a youth once. He faced challenges, temptations, and social problems, just like we do. But what made him different was how he stayed honest, kind, and strong in his values. He was known as Al-Amin, the trustworthy one, even before becoming a prophet. Imagine being so trusted by everyone around you at such a young age. And that’s super-inspiring!
So, when we celebrate Maulid Nabi, let’s not think of it as just a tradition or a ritual. Instead, let’s see it as a reminder: how can we, as the younger generation, carry even a little bit of the Prophet’s character into our daily lives? Whether it’s being more patient with our friends, being kind to our parents, or even just spreading positivity online instead of hate, these small actions are actually big steps if we do them sincerely.
In short, the Prophet’s birthday is not only about the past, but also about shaping our present and future. We might not live in the same time as Rasulullah, but his teachings are timeless.
Let’s make today not just about remembering, but also about recharging our spirit to be better Muslims and better human beings.
Thank you, and may we all be blessed.
Wassalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
