3. Series of controversies that have hit Mecimapro

As one of the KPop concert promoters, Mecimapro has also been frequently embroiled in controversies. Some of the recent controversies are known to be related to the audience's experience during Mecimapro's music concerts.
In 2022, Mecimapro was criticized for providing poor services to the audience at the SEVENTEEN concert in Jakarta. CARATs complained about the poor ticketing system, accusations of ticket hoarding, and issues with barcode tickets not being scannable.

The promoter has provided clarifications following the trending hashtag #BANNEDMECIMA at that time. They denied allegations of collusion with scalpers, ticket hoarding for certain reasons, and issues with barcode tickets not being scannable.
Then, in the same year, audiences at the Super Junior Super Show 9: Road in Jakarta concert complained about the promoter's decision to prohibit planned fan projects during the concert.
This decision received harsh criticism from ELF. The promoter questioned the high number of ticket sales conducted outside their official website, as well as fan activities that were not informed to them beforehand.
However, according to some ELF members, their representatives did send an email regarding the fan project, but they received no response at all.
Previously, in 2017, the hashtag #ShameonYouMecimaPro also gained traction on Twitter, expressing the frustrations of SEVENTEEN concert attendees at the Diamond in Jakarta-themed concert. Issues ranged from changes to the seat plan on the concert day to disturbances during the send-off, which went viral in social media.
Some attendees of iKON concerts promoted by Mecimapro also complained about not receiving posters even though the concert had long ended.

In addition to controversies related to KPop fans' concert experiences, Mecima also frequently faces harsh criticism regarding issues with ticket refunds and purchases of official merchandise sold through Mecima Shop.

Viral on X, ticket buyers for the IVE and SHI concerts, whose concert schedules were postponed by Mecima, demanded refunds that were not paid and received no clarity. IVE Indonesia Union even issued an open letter to Mecima.
IDN Times gave Melani the opportunity to reply to an article in Indonesian that was previously published, but until this article was published there was no reply to the short message via WhatsApp that we sent to Melani's contact number.
Now, do you have any experience attending a KPop concert organized by Mecimapro?
