Sebuah penelitian terhadap tikus penderita diabetes menunjukkan bahwa telur puyuh mengurangi kadar glukosa darah dan kreatinin. Penelitian tersebut juga menunjukkan efek positif pada fungsi ginjal.
Mengonsumsi telur puyuh secara teratur juga dapat mengurangi risiko terkena diabetes dan gangguan ginjal.
Telur puyuh memiliki indeks glikemik yang rendah. Dengan demikian, telur puyuh melepaskan gula secara perlahan ke dalam darah, yang membantu mengatur kadar glukosa darah.
Meski ukurannya kecil, manfaat telur puyuh besar sekali untuk kesehatan. Meski begitu, konsumsinya tak boleh berlebihan, ya, karena bisa meningkatkan kolesterol. Kombinasikan juga dengan makanan sehat lainnya lewat pola makan bergizi seimbang agar manfaat yang didapat makin banyak!
