Ia bersimpuh, di bibir dermaga.
Semburat jingga menyertai lalumu,
dari perantauan.
jika dapat dikata, ia sampaikan...
"Selamat menempuh hidup baru, Kawan."
Ombak memburu kutilang,
baskaramu diburu perbintangan.
Kau kini anak bawang,
Anak bawang seterang-terang rembulan.
Meski remang,
lelapmu terbuai gelap malam.
Sampai-sampai tak mengira,
Jika fajar tinggal setipis uap embun di perbatasan zaman.
