Langkah yang terdengar keras sesekali bukan masalah. Namun, jika langkah terasa sangat menghentak, disertai nyeri berulang pada lutut, pinggul, tulang kering, atau telapak kaki, itu bisa menandakan teknik lari atau kapasitas fisik perlu dievaluasi.
Dalam situasi seperti ini, analisis biomekanika lari oleh fisioterapis olahraga atau pelatih yang berpengalaman dapat membantu mengidentifikasi faktor yang berkontribusi.
Sering kali solusinya adalah dengan meningkatkan kekuatan otot, memperbaiki cadence, mengelola volume latihan, atau memilih sepatu yang lebih sesuai.
